Wedding DJs who plan the music with you
Your wedding DJ arrives early, sets up before guests arrive and checks volumes for the room. You choose as much or as little of the music as you like, from a fully planned Spotify playlist to a few must play songs and a do not play list. We have played venues from Mudbrick and Cable Bay to The Winehouse in Queenstown, most of them on video, and the planning process is the same careful routine every time.

How much does a DJ cost for a wedding in NZ?
Wedding DJ pricing depends on the hours, the location, and whether the booking includes ceremony sound, extra lighting or MC duties. See our wedding DJ cost guide and prices and packages, or get a quote for an exact figure.
How much should you expect to pay for a 4 or 5 hour DJ set?
Most parties book 4 to 5 hours, and the price reflects setup, travel and equipment as well as the set itself. Tell us the hours and venue on the quote form and we will give you a firm price rather than a guess.

Do you travel outside the main cities?
Yes. Our DJs are based in Auckland, Queenstown, Wellington, Christchurch and Tauranga and regularly cover Northland, the Bay of Islands, Waikato, Nelson and Waiheke Island. Travel is priced into your quote.
How far in advance should we book a DJ?
For Saturday weddings in summer, and for school ball season, the earlier the better since popular dates go first. If your date is close, call 021 550 348 rather than waiting on the form.
Do your DJs take requests on the night?
Yes, always. A packed dancefloor comes from playing the crowd in front of you. If there are songs you do not want, put them on the do not play list and they stay off, no matter who asks.
