MC support, if you want it
Many couples ask their DJ to carry light MC duties: announcing the entrance, the cake, the first dance and the farewells. Our DJs do it cleanly and briefly, keeping the microphone work warm and short so the night belongs to you, not to us. Full MC service or a family MC working alongside the DJ both work fine, decided on the run sheet before the day.

How much does a wedding DJ cost in NZ?

Can you play our ceremony music too?
Yes, and most couples book it. Battery powered ceremony sound with a wireless microphone for the celebrant, then the full system at the reception. One booking, two setups.
Can we give you a playlist?
Yes, please do. Build a Spotify playlist and send it through so your DJ has the list before you even arrive. Do not play lists are honoured no matter who asks on the night.
Will the DJ take requests from guests?
Yes, requests are part of the job, filtered through your do not play list. A floor stays full when the DJ plays the actual crowd.
Do you MC as well?
Light MC duties, announcing entrances, cake, first dance and farewells, are included if you want them. A full MC or a family MC alongside the DJ works too, agreed on the run sheet.
What happens if our DJ gets sick?
The national roster is the backup plan. Gear and people sit behind every booking, which is why couples whose other DJs cancelled at the last minute have found us and had the night saved.
